Get Ready for a New Moodle

Moodle 3.1 is coming to Saint Mary's College on June 4, 2017!

The goal of this upgrade is to improve the student and faculty experience by adopting a more robust learning management system.

The benefits include:

  • A streamlined user interface
  • A customizable dashboard with the ability to reorder your course list
  • Improvements to the gradebook and online markup of assignments
  • It's mobile friendly!

Q:  What do I need to do to prepare for this upgrade?

A:  IT Services and the EdTech staff will be doing all the background work.  Users will not need to do anything.

Q:  How can I get more information about the new features?

A:  There will be some changes to the user interface, so we recommend watching the videos linked below.  Further training is available if you have any questions or concerns.
