MySMC Gets a Refresh

IT Services has been working on an update to the campus portal over the past few months.  When we go live January 28, 2017 the portal page will have a slightly different look.  All of the resources you are used to seeing on your "My" will still be there.

The back end refresh improves the portal by making it more mobile friendly, increases security and provides a more robust Single Sign On for most of the SMC apps and services which will be synced as users log in.  We see this as a Win-Win for Saint Mary's College.

When the new portal is launched, users will be prompted to answer a set of security questions.  Once that is set up, log in will be the standard user name and password entry.  With the syncing feature enabled, users won't have to log in again to other SMC apps and services that are accessible through the portal.
