New Staff Recognition Program 2015-2016

by By Sunny Bradford, Human Resources | June 11, 2015

Saint Mary’s is launching a new Staff Recognition Program in 2015-16 to acknowledge staff members’ significant contributions and achievements. The new program will consist of two components: (1) a process for organizational recognition of five staff members annually and (2) a system for informal peer-to-peer recognition.

The 14-member Staff Recognition Task Force worked during fall 2014 and spring 2015 on a detailed proposal that recently received Cabinet approval. The Task Force’s goal was to develop a College-wide approach to staff recognition that aligns with the College’s philosophy of attracting, retaining, and rewarding outstanding staff members.

Look for upcoming information on how the new two-component program will work and ways you can be involved. Information will be made available through the Human Resources website, the Bulletin, Staff Council meetings, email announcements, and special events.
