REV SMC is Underway!
REV SMC is a college initiative that brings SMC departments together to enhance, streamline and revitalize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, otherwise known as Colleague.
The ERP Revitalization project, named REV SMC, has already started and will continue through 2022. Business process reviews will be conducted for those departments who engage in Colleague on a daily basis. The project will include input from several key departments such as Human Resources, Payroll, Office of the Registrar, Admissions, Advising, Academic Affairs, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, IT Services and other departments across campus. Goals include data/code clean up, data migration to SQL, updated data integrations, documentation of processes, data governance framework and new reporting tool selection.
