What's Next: Flipping the Tassel, Tossing The Cap

Commencement weekend (May 26-27) at Saint Mary’s was a welcoming, congratulatory, and heartfelt celebration, resplendent with pomp and circumstance and a host of traditional and nontraditional highlights. Speeches offering insights and advice were parlayed into opportunities for graduating students to be introspective as they prepare for the next chapter of their life journey. The graduates were cheered on by faculty, family, and friends—tossing their artistically adorned caps into the air as a final display of academic achievement—while their vision of “What’s Next” became one step closer.
