Student Success Collaborative

Saint Mary's has partnered with the EAB to support the College's strategic goals and will be utilizing its technology, the Student Success Collaborative (SSC), to support Deans, Chairs, faculty and staff in your engagement with students and with each other to support student success.

In SSC, you can:

  • See assigned students by term

  • View student information:

    • Course schedule

    • Progress towards graduation

    • Mid-term Grades

    • Predicted risk level (different than success markers)

    • Success markers

    • Repeated courses

    • Withdrawn courses

    • D’s, F’s

  • Issue an alert regarding a student with whom you have concern (replaces Student Success Portal)

  • Send a message to advisees individually or all at once

  • Add a note regarding student meetings

You will continue to use GaelXpress to:

  • Review a student’s academic evaluation

  • Search for classes

  • Clear a student for registration

Quick Start Guide

More About Early Alert

The Student Success Collaborative (SSC) features an early alert tool designed for faculty and staff to identify students who would benefit from resources, services and tailored support. SSC promotes centralized communication and collaboration amongst staff, faculty and departments, which strengthens the network of support for students. Issuing an alert notifies a Success Coach, who will respond to the individual submitting the alert, engage the student, and connect with other campus partners as needed to support the student.
