Overload Request

Catalog Description
Students are allowed to enroll in up to 36 units per academic year. At most 18 units may be taken during the Fall and Spring semesters, at most 5 units in January Term. Coursework in the Summer Term is not included and might incur additional fees. Additional units will be subject to overload fees (See Tuition and Fees for more information).

Overload registration requires submission of an Overload Request Form through the Registrar’s Office. To qualify for overloading, students must meet the following criteria:

Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Advisor approval required.

Overload registration is permitted only after the completion of the initial registration period, as according to the academic calendar.
