Please join us for SpeakOut NewLit on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 4pm for a fun evening of literary events celebrating 10 years of New Literary Project, home of the Iris Starn Fellowship in conjunction with the Creative Writing Department.
Hear from the 2025 Joyce Carol Oates Prize Winners and authors Jennine Capó Crucet and Willy Vlautin, enjoy delectable food and beverages, DJ Wonway Posibul, and salsa dancing.
Don't miss this exciting evening and a chance to learn more about New Literary Project and the Creative Writing Department at SMC.
