A Haunted History of Saint Mary’s

No history of Saint Mary’s would be complete without the stories, passed down from generation to generation, of ghostly hauntings in the halls of Saint Mary’s. Visions of headless cadets from the ’40s and long-departed Brothers wandering the “catacombs” beneath the campus have sent chills down the spines of countless students through the decades.

More than 80 years have passed since the Christian Brothers moved Saint Mary’s College to Moraga, and many generations of students have walked these corridors. But did some enjoy their time here so much that they never left?
