Additional Resources

We have a variety of iPads and calculators available for checkout. You can borrow them short- or long-term. Please email Magaly at ma19@stmarys-ca.edu to request a loan.

In addition, we work with the Library to manage the laptop-for-the-term devices. They have both chromebooks and full Dell laptops available. If you will need to install specific software (e.g. R, C++, Pymol), make sure to specify that you need a laptop for STEM classes.

STEM tutors have developed study guides to support you outside of tutoring hours.

We hope that the STEM Center will be your first stop for tutoring in intro STEM classes. STEM Center tutoring is drop-in and unlimited, so no appointments are required.

If you feel that you would benefit from additional 1-to-1 tutoring, you are welcome and encouraged to schedule tutoring appointments through TASC using this link. One-to-one tutoring appointments are first-come, first-served, but students are limited to three 30-minute bookings at a time. Feel free to reach out to STEM Center and TASC staff for more information or for help with bookings
