Instrumental Showcase Concert

The Fall 2026 Instrumental Showcase Concert will feature instrumentalists from across the Saint Mary’s Music Program. The Saint Mary’s Concert Ensemble will present the world premiere of a brand-new six-movement suite by our Fall 2026 Composer-in-Residence, Arturo “Artie” Rodriguez, written specifically for the Saint Mary’s College Concert Ensemble.

The concert will also feature smaller chamber ensembles and solo performances, highlighting the talents of our student musicians. The program will include a special performance of John Cage’s 4′33″, preceded by a brief student presentation exploring the work and its significance, developed as part of our Music Revolutions of the 20th Century course.
