The Lamont Madden Book Fund

The Lamont Madden Book Fund (LMBF), a memorial to former student Lamont Madden, is a resource for students who need support to obtain their seminar texts.

Currently, the LMBF has a large library of seminar texts that students may borrow, as well as some texts used in other Saint Mary's courses, particularly English and Psychology.

The LMBF also has a voucher program for students who need extra support to purchase texts for non-seminar courses. Disbursement is on a first come first serve basis, although those who have greater financial need will be given priority.

To apply for help from the LMBF, students must complete the application in full, perform one community service project in the semester in which they borrow books, and return all books at the end of the semester.
