About
Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics is a foundational document for ethical reflection, the source of the Catholic theory of both virtue and natural law. Implicit in his Ethics is the theory that humans, by nature, reach out to know, and that the knowledge we seek can only be uncovered in conversation with friends. It is not an overstatement to say that this text has given rise to university education itself.
