Bay Area Student Shorts Film Festival

The Bay Area Student Shorts Film Festival is an annual film festival put on by students, for students. We invite young filmmakers from across the Bay Area from various universities, city colleges and high schools to showcase their work and to make connections with other student filmmakers. Created in 2018, our festival encourages the talent of young filmmakers and supports diverse youth voices by providing opportunities to have their work showcased and to network with peers in a healthy and competitive environment. Held at Saint Mary’s College of California, BASS Film Festival offers a welcoming space for student filmmakers to get their foot through the door and encourage their pursuit into the film industry.
