Time: Depart SMC 5:00pm
Open to: All undergrad students are welcome! No experience required—just bring your love for nature!

Experience the magic of paddling through waters that light up with every stroke! The bioluminescence phenomenon is a rare and stunning natural display caused by tiny organisms that glow in the dark when disturbed. It's the perfect chance to escape campus and explore nature in an exciting and new way.

What to Expect:

  • A guided kayak tour through bioluminescent waters
  • Stunning views of glowing organisms lighting up the water around you
  • A fun and safe adventure with experienced guides
  • Snacks and drinks provided (bring your own water bottle)

Funding for this trip is provided by the enhancement fee. First come, first serve. There is a limited amount of students who can attend this event. Students will be notified if they are on the registered list or on the waitlist.
