Clone of Housing Room Selection: 4/7, 4/8, & 4/19

In-Person at Soda Center

Room selection for returning students will take place April 7th-April 9th in person at Soda Center (Moraga Room) 5:00pm-10:00pm.  

In order to participate in Room Selection, students must have completed all health immunization requirements of SMC (typically completed the summer prior to their first semester at SMC).  Based on feedback from this past year's Room Selection, for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Campus Housing will be prioritizing earlier room selection appointments for students in (larger) roommate groups, and seniority will be factored in within each designated group.  For example, a group of 6 seniors looking for a townhouse together will have an earlier timeslot than a group of 6 juniors looking for a townhouse together (or a mixed group of juniors/seniors)--seniority is factored in WITHIN the group/room preference timeslots.

There will be options for students who are unable to attend in person to designate another student as a "proxy" to select a room on their behalf, typically their group leader who is the only person who needs to show up to the in-person room selection event.
