Close Looking at Art
Date & Time

Location (On-campus)

About
This workshop offers students the opportunity to apply their Seminar reading skills to a new way of looking at visual art. Working in small groups, students examine artworks from the Western cultural tradition; the goal is to discover how “close looking” has its own logic, grammar, and rhetoric, paralleling the close reading of written texts.
