About

The Window on Death Row invites audiences to confront a difficult question: If even one innocent person can be condemned to death, what does that say about the integrity of our justice system?

Join us for a powerful documentary screening that tells a story of wrongful conviction, faith, and survival on death row. Through intimate storytelling and real-life experiences, the film explores what it means to hold onto hope, humanity, and forgiveness in the most unforgiving of places.

“This is a story about faith, second chances and what it means to hold onto love, forgiveness and humanity in a place built to extinguish all three.” — Director Linda Freund

Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion featuring Earl Smith, former death row chaplain, and Linda Freund, the film’s director, moderated by Professor Ronald Ahnen. Together, they will reflect on the film’s themes and engage in a meaningful conversation with the audience.

This event is free and open to the public.
