About

Knowledge of the world is not self-evident. It must be produced through observation, measurement, interpretation, and communication. But what ultimately counts as knowledge? How can we distinguish it from mere opinion? And how do we proceed when what we “know” is contested by others? Join a panel of Seminar instructors as we use Seminar texts to navigate these epistemological questions.

With David Bird, Ellen Rigsby, Karen Ruff, & Joe Zeccardi

Related Seminar texts:
LeGuin, The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas; Plato, Allegory of the Cave; Goodall, Through a Window; Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass (SEM 150, SEM 327)
