About

This seminal documentary recounts how 1980s AIDS activists battled widespread hostility and indifference to the AIDS crisis, to bring attention to the disease and fuel the search for a cure. The documentary is a compelling portrait of the power of community to mobilize national change; and it offers invaluable context for understanding Angels in America. The screening will be followed by small-group discussion.
