KSOE Speaker Series Featuring Dr. Talia Moore

This session explores innovative strategies used to introduce and integrate social justice into collegiate and graduate curricula using non-traditional learning modalities. Podcasts, social media platforms, digital storytelling, and other emerging media, will be examined as tools to enhance student engagement while promoting critical reflection on issues of equity, justice, and social responsibility. The session will highlight practical approaches for incorporating these modalities into course design, fostering inclusive learning environments, and connecting academic content to real-world social justice concerns. Attendees will leave with ideas and examples to creatively expand teaching practices beyond traditional classroom methods.
