About
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a yearly cohort-model program for Saint Mary's College community members are:
- Seeking to become a Roman Catholic Christian, or
- Baptized Roman Catholic but have not made their First Communion and/or Confirmation, or
- Are a fully initiated Roman Catholic and wish to discuss, share, and enrich your faith life.
OCIA classes will be held in person in the evenings starting in late September and continuing through April, which is when the Mass of Initiation will be held for all those being Baptized, receiving First Communion, or being Confirmed.
The commitment consists of OCIA class one evening a week, and attendance at the Sunday 8pm student-led liturgies.Those who register by September 13 will be consulted about which evening/s of the week work best for their schedule for OCIA class.
