About
Created by SMC alum Kassey James in 2018, the BASS Film Festival is now an annual film festival put on BY students, FOR students. We invite young filmmakers from across the Bay Area to showcase their work and to make connections with other student filmmakers.
This year's festival will take place in the Soda Center, on Fri May 9, 5:30-9:00pm. The theme is Childhood Kickback, inspired by a movie slumber party! We will have a temporary tattoo station, a photobooth, dessert bar, face painting, and catering. Please dress comfortably, inspired by the theme (PJs and childhood vibes). Come out and watch some epic films, and support student films!
