About
Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection has long been the prevailing explanation for the diversity of life on earth. Framed as "the struggle for existence," the concept created a widespread belief in competition as the force driving evolution. But new developments in Ecology and Genetics, fields which didn’t exist in Darwin's day, are transforming our understanding. Join us for a discussion of Darwin's theory in light of our evolving ideas about competition, cooperation, and human individuality.
