FREE ARTS FOR STUDENTS INITIATIVE
All Performing Arts Events Are Now FREE for Students!
Dear SMC Students,
The ARTS are ALIVE at SMC - and your current SMC ID gets you in for FREE!
We’re excited to introduce the SMC ART PASS, a new initiative designed to make the arts a visible, essential, and accessible part of your Saint Mary’s experience.
Your ART PASS gives every enrolled SMC student complimentary admission to campus arts events, including:
- Theatre
- Dance
- Music
- Exhibitions
- Visiting artists
- Interdisciplinary arts events and experiences
No extra cost (it's covered by the Student Expreince Fee). No choosing whether you can afford a ticket. Just show up, show your SMC ID Card, and experience the arts!
The ART PASS is part of The ARTS are ALIVE at SMC, an initiative connected to Saint Mary’s 2026–2027 theme of Inclusive Community. We believe the arts create opportunities to connect, explore new ideas, experience different perspectives, and most importantly belong.
Whether you already love the arts or have never been to an SMC performance or exhibition, this is your invitation to experience something new.
See It. Hear It. Experience It. Belong.
Watch for upcoming events on stmarys-ca.edu/box-office, show your ID at the entrance without making a reservation, bring your SMC friends, and discover what’s happening across the SMC arts community.
The arts are alive at SMC. Come be part of it!
