Campus Experience Team Celebrates National Transfer Student Week

by Fiona Corner, Assistant Director of Residential Experience | October 22, 2026

The Campus Experience Team celebrated National Transfer Student Week October 19–21 with three mornings of coffee, donuts, and community in the Bus Loop. From 9–11 a.m. each day, students, faculty, and staff stopped by to enjoy delicious treats from Gael Dining and Johnny’s Donuts while recognizing and celebrating Saint Mary’s transfer student community.

The event offered a simple way to connect, share a treat, and celebrate the contributions transfer students bring to campus. Through initiatives like this, the Campus Experience Team continues to support student connection and belonging at Saint Mary’s.

National Transfer Student Week is a national program sponsored by the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition at the University of South Carolina. The annual celebration recognizes transfer students and highlights the experiences and contributions of students navigating the transition to a new institution.
