COVID-19 Testing Requirement and Registration for On-Campus Testing Clinic

In order to return to in-person classes next week, all Saint Mary’s undergraduate and graduate students are required to submit a negative COVID-19 test taken between January 5 and January 9.

Saint Mary’s is hosting an on-campus testing clinic from Wednesday, January 5th through Saturday, January 8th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participation in the on-campus testing clinic is mandatory for students living on campus, and is available free of charge to all Saint Mary’s students. Testing will be held in the Joseph Alioto Recreation Center and students can check-in at the rear of the building for their scheduled appointment or designated time block.

Students who have already signed up for an appointment time should come at that time. Those who have not already signed up should drop in to the clinic during the times listed below, based on last name:

  • Wednesday, January 5: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Last names A-E)
  • Thursday, January 6: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Last names F-L)
  • Friday, January 7: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Last names M-Q)
  • Saturday January 8: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Last names R-Z)

For those who are unable to make their assigned time, there will be some availability on a drop-in, first-come, first-serve basis on other days.

Before arriving for their appointment, students need to pre-register by clicking here or using the QR code in the graphic below.

Enter the SMC specific voucher code “JLOQAKJSR” to get started.

Students who live off campus and choose not to participate in the on-campus testing clinic on January 5-8 are responsible for being tested at their own cost and providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test, taken between January 5-9, in order to attend in-person classes. Use THIS FORM to submit off-campus COVID-19 test results.
