Entertaining Match Up for Intramural Basketball Championships
November 28th marked the end of another successful intramural season with Scott McCamish Elite taking on The Squad at the UCU Pavillion. Both teams had players returning to the championship which made for an entertaining final matchup that ended with Scott McCamish Elite winning the game 80-76.

The Squad were led by Kingston Matin ‘26 with 32 points and Matthew Rodriguez ‘24 with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Scott McCamish Elite finished the game with five players scoring double digits led by John Rathbun ‘26 with 26 points and Jared Cox MA ‘24 with 16 points. The use of the UCU made for an even better atmosphere as friends and fans showed out to support their teams. Jose Miranda ‘26 of Scott McCamish Elite said the use of the UCU “gave a different feel of the game that was more competitive and the energy was different. Seeing some fans in the bleachers made for a much more fun experience”.

Thank you to all of the teams that competed this season which led to a great playoff series and final competition following one of the most intense seasons of intramural basketball. The next season starts in January with the 3v3 coed tournament.
