Facilities Services Department Leadership Transition

Dear Saint Mary’s community,

I am writing to announce that I have appointed Michael Flood as Interim Director of Facilities Services for a period of one to two years and he will be reporting directly to me. Michael has more than 25 years of experience in the management of facilities in university, health care and arts center settings. Michael is coming to Saint Mary’s from Sodexo Campus Services and will bring with him the systems and support of Sodexo’s extensive network dedicated to the management of educational facilities in California and across the country. Michael begins his appointment today.

Long-time Executive Director of Facilities Services Joe Kehoe has accepted a new assignment as Senior Project Manager. In his new role, Joe will work closely with Director of Project Management Diane Hardy and Project Manager Christopher Donnelly, FSC as they continue to develop the capabilities of the new Office of Project Management (OPM), which is focused on a wide range of facility projects that are informed by the new institutional strategic plan and include new construction, renovation work, and the approval of an updated campus master plan by the Town of Moraga.

Please join me in thanking Joe Kehoe for his loyal service as director and in wishing him all the best in his new assignment. Also join me in welcoming Michael Flood to the Saint Mary’s College community.
