Get Ready for ‘One Day One SMC’

On April 17–18, the Saint Mary’s community comes together to celebrate all that is Saint Mary’s. It’s a chance to support student scholarships, the College’s greatest needs, and programs that matter most to you.

Get ready for One Day One SMC—a day when we come together to celebrate all that is Saint Mary’s. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the SMC community coming together in this way. So for this milestone, on April 17–18 we’ll celebrate SMC with 1,863 minutes (or just over 31 hours) of giving in honor of our founding year.

On One Day, each donation—no matter how large—makes a big impact. Give to support student scholarships, the SMC Fund, Galloping Gaels—or choose from 75 programs and causes throughout Saint Mary’s that you care about most. Your support on this day is a testament to our legacy, and a vote of confidence in our future, as we continue to empower our students to make lasting change in the world.

Gifts can be split up to five ways, and every gift counts, starting with just $5! Together, we can reach our ambitious goal and raise important dollars for the College and Saint Mary’s students.

How to Participate

  • Make a gift to support student scholarships, the College’s greatest needs, or the program of your choice
  • Spread the word about One Day One SMC—including through social media, by re-sharing the posts on InstagramFacebookLinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter).

Are You on Campus on April 17? Stop by the Chapel lawn for a BBQ as we kick off Lasallian Heritage Days!

April 17 also marks the beginning of Lasallian Heritage Days with a campus-wide Kick Off Barbecue. Join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Chapel Lawn, enjoy time with friends and colleagues, and learn more about One Day One SMC. During Lasallian Heritage Days, we host a series of programs and special events to honor the founder of the Christian Brothers, John Baptist de La Salle, and celebrate the work of the many Brothers and partners in our educational mission here at Saint Mary’s and all around the world.
