The History Department Honors Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the History Department has created this Timeline of Anti-Asian Legislation and Violence to provide context for our current moment and specifically for the upsurge in violence our APA communities have been facing during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Our goal is to provide a useful tool for the SMC community and beyond. This timeline is far from complete and we envision this it as a collaborative community project.
