The Kalmanovitz School of Education will continue to serve the next generation of educators, offering high-quality graduate education that is flexible and completely online.
KSOE is pleased to announce an expansion of its Master of Arts in Teaching (MAIT) program. Beginning January 2026, educators looking to advance their career can now launch not only in the summer but also in the spring—still delivered 100% online.
Program Highlights
- Fully online delivery, accommodating students across authorized states for distance learning
- Cohort-based, project-driven curriculum, culminating in an applied capstone project
- Flexible pacing, allowing for accelerated (full-time summer) or extended timelines
Optional Catholic Educator Emphasis
Candidates seeking to teach in Catholic settings may enrich the MAIT experience with a Catholic Educator Emphasis. This degree option includes:
- Two additional TRS (Theology & Religious Studies) courses—The Vocation and Spirituality of the Catholic Educator and Liturgy, Sacraments, and Faith Formation in Catholic Education—totaling 6 units
- Capstone project aligned with Catholic education themes
