To bolster the College's AACSB Accreditation initiative, SEBA is planning a mock visit in May to highlight our accomplishments of past continuous improvement efforts and identify areas of enhancements.
SEBA plans to host an AACSB mock visit team in May. In preparation, on March 26th, a mock visit retreat, led by Associate Dean Larisa Genin, was held in preparation for the upcoming AACSB Mock Visit. Over 20 faculty and staff members attended the retreat. The main purpose of the mock visit is to prepare us for the official visit, anticipated to occur in 2013-2014. The mock visit team will review SEBA’s accomplishments of past continuous improvement efforts, identify areas of enhancements. and meet with key stakeholders (faculty, students, board members, campus and business leaders).
The dates are tentatively set for May 1st and 2nd. The mock visit team will consist of Joe Diangelo, Vice-Chair, Chair-Elect AACSB 2011-2012 Board of Directors, and Dean of St. Joseph’s University Erivan K. Haub School of Business; Vana Zervanos, Associate Dean, St. Joseph’s University Erivan K. Haub School of Business; Gregory Bruce, Dean Emeritus, La Salle University (chaired 21 AACSB peer review teams, and has mentored 14 schools in process of gaining accreditation).
The consultants will evaluate SEBA on 20 AACSB standards in five key areas: strategic planning, student support, faculty management support, curriculum management, and assurance of learning.
