The Theatre Program at Saint Mary’s College is proud to announce the cast and creatives of our upcoming mainstage production, Send It To The Moon: A Circle Of Short Playsa fully-produced evening of original, published, and premiere short plays under the artistic leadership of the Theatre Program Capstone Class of ‘24.

This student-driven night of works highlights themes and motifs of the moon, water, circles, and second chances. It's a glimpse into the minds of rising theatre artists, led by senior capstone students: Ashley Baumgartner (playwright), Emma Ledesma (director, actor), William Thompson (director, actor), Chloë Parmelee-Laporte (director, actor), Ryanne Biernat (actor, co-conceiver), Justin Campo (actor, make-up designer), Rylee Grace Cagle (stage manager), Bridget Douglas (set designer, outside eye), Esteban LeCam (associate director, actor),  Joanne Houston (director, actor), and Harley Hermosillo (props designer).

Theatre Professor, Shannon R. Davis, says, “The capstone students have devised this night of theatre based on imagery, communal concepts, and elemental inspiration. They chose a wealth of differing plays to bring a singular experience to the audience. They have procured a performance as producers: part whimsy, drama, darkness, and light,  all keeping theme and producorial challenges in mind.  The moon is the inspiration that informs this work. They’ve been building towards this for years, and now they are ready to share their craft and skill with you. I’m so excited for the collective vision they’ve created.”
