SMC Participates in Bay Area Theater Community Portfolio Review

During the first week of June, Saint Mary's was invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Bay Area Bread Bowl -- an informal event hosted at Stanford University, where students of all levels are invited to create a poster about their "behind-the-scenes" theater work, and present it to peers and industry professionals in a supportive setting. Three of our SMC students participated! Kate Conti presented on her Capstone Project, Break The System, for which she was the playwright and director. Tiernan McKevitt presented his projection design for Pippin and his backstage photography work. And Kate Barker presented her work as a stage carpenter and props artisan. 

 

Saint Mary's hopes to attend this community event annually.
