"My four years at SMC changed my life in so many fantastic ways; I cannot thank enough people who made it possible."
About the John A. and Mary M. Sabatte Family Endowed Scholarship: This endowment was originally created in memory of John and Mary Sabatte, founders of Berkeley Farms Dairy, for their love of Saint Mary's College and its mission. Thanks to a significant bequest by Remond Sabatte '45, additional gifts by the Sabatte family members and endowment growth, this fund has grown to $6,871,000. Speaking on behalf of the extended family, Regent Gary Sabatte, says "We are thrilled to see so many students benefit from this scholarship support. Three generations of the Sabatte family were educated by the Christian Brothers, and we are glad this fund lives on in perpetuity so many others can have this remarkable experience as well."
