Saint Mary's Takes Center Stage at MLB All-Star Game
The 2022 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will feature a pair of Saint Mary's greats as pitchers Corbin Burnes and Tony Gonsolin represent the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers, respectively, at the annual midsummer classic. San Jose Mercury News and East Bay Times sportswriter Joseph Dycus spotlighted their time at Saint Mary's and the maturation they underwent that led to them now being recognized as two of the best pitchers in baseball today.
First pitch for Tuesday's game is set for 5 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on FOX.
