The Dante Club is the oldest club on campus established in 1935 by students who traveled to Italy and returned with a love for all things Italian. The goal of the Dante Club is to promote the Italian language and culture on the Saint Mary's campus and in the Bay Area through various meetings and events that enrich the community.

SMC Grads Deepen Connection with Italian Community
Three Saint Mary’s alumni have taken what they learned in SMC's Italian program to make connections with the Italian Community Services (ICS) organization in the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco.
