Italian Studies Minor

With the Italian Studies minor, students gain a rich understanding of Italy's language, literature, and culture, while developing the global fluency to connect across borders. Progressing from foundational vocabulary to sophisticated communication, students build a genuine proficiency in Italian through explorations of Italian film, history, art, and civilization. In small, discussion-driven classes, students engage with celebrated thinkers such as Elena Ferrante, Dante, Italo Calvino, and Machiavelli. Students participate in community engagement activities and gain hands-on exposure to internships and professional life.
