Lasallian Educator Fellowship Program

The Lasallian Educator Fellowship Program is a collaboration between Saint Mary's College, Kalmanovitz School of Education and the District of San Francisco/New Orleans. Its purpose is to prepare quality educators for our Lasallian schools. Saint Mary's commitment to furthering the Catholic Lasallian mission is at the heart of this program.

A Look into the Lasallian Educator Fellowship Program with Evan Vaughan '22, Assistant Director of Graduate Support at De Marillac Academy

In 2020-21 the Lasallian Educator Fellowship program welcomed its 20th-anniversary cohort. To learn more about the fellowship in action, KSOE spoke with Evan Vaughan ‘22, a current KSOE Counseling student who also serves as Assistant Director of Graduate Support at De Marillac Academy, a tuition-free, Catholic, Lasallian middle school spanning fourth through eighth grades, located in San Francisco, CA.

This fellowship program is designed for Saint Mary's graduates whose vocation is to become an educator (teacher, counselor and/or administrator), for other college graduates who aspire to become Lasallian educators, and to non-credentialed personnel who serve in Lasallian schools.

Saint Mary's offers this tuition-free credential program (Lasallian Fellowship) in exchange for three years of salaried service at one of the Lasallian Catholic schools.
