Women's and Gender Studies Minor

In our interdisciplinary minor, you will approach the experiences of women and the study of gender identity from multiple perspectives. You can take courses from different departments—Art, Theology & Religion, History, English, etc.—but concentrate on women and gender. 

The minor requires six courses: three core Courses (WGS 101; WGS 300 or 311 or 312; WGS 351), and three upper-division electives on Women and Gender in other disciplines. No more than two courses may be in a single discipline; and one course must focus on global issues and/or engage an intersectional analysis of gender, race, sexuality, nation, etc.
