Career Transitions for Dancers is a national program offering career counseling, educational scholarships and panel discussions to dancers at any stage of their career. Whether you’re looking to supplement your income, build a parallel career, find support during injury recovery, or begin a new career path, Career Transitions completely free services can help. Career Transitions for Dancers is a program of The Entertainment Community Fund.

The Encore Fund is a scholarship program dedicated to helping professional dancers transition from their current careers as artists into higher education opportunities. We are devoted to advancing opportunities for dancers as they move away from their dance careers into their next steps. The Encore Fund is fiscally sponsored by Dance Resource Center.

Mentorship

SecondAct NYC is a mentorship project for dancers helping dancers entering higher education and second careers. They pair professional dancers who have made successful transitions into college and/or new industries with dancers looking to make similar transitions.
