About

Siesta Valley Foundation has taken over the former Cal-Shakes location (EBMUD property) with a goal to protect, preserve and enhance the Siesta Valley. The Foundation’s vision is to revitalize the historic amphitheater and provide a public space for community, conservation, and culture. Saint Mary’s faculty member Dr. Michael Marchetti is currently serving on the board of directors as their resident conservation biologist.

Opening night for the Siesta Valley Bowl is scheduled for early in June 2026 and we need help getting the site ready.

What: Plant restoration volunteers needed!

When: Saturday April 25, 8 a.m. – Noon

Where: 100 California Shakespeare Theater Way, Orinda, CA 94563

Bring: Work gloves, sun hat, sunscreen, long pants, and a sense of community!
