Horseback Riding at Half Moon Bay

SMC students enjoy a unique experience along the California coast

On Saturday, October 28, Saint Mary’s students traveled across the San Francisco Bay to experience a unique ride on horseback by the beach at Half Moon Bay. Hosted by Campus Recreation and funded by the Enhancement Fee, the outing with Seahorse Ranch provided a unique experience along a stretch of the California coast known for its stunning natural beauty.

This 1.5 hour equestrian trail included guided paths along the bluffs above the ocean and views from the most popular beaches at Half Moon Bay. 

Along with a gorgeous day and striking scenery, “This event was so well planned and organized,” said one first-year student. “I had such a great time and would recommend others to attend.”
