To Promote, Support, and Recognize Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity at Saint Mary's College

Activities 

The Office of Research collaborates with research-active faculty to seek sponsored funding, including federal, state, and organizational grants, to support faculty research activities at Saint Mary’s College.  The office also works with program staff to seek sponsored funding to support other institutional priorities.  

Grant Workshop Series 2025-2026

In 2025-2026, the Office of Research, Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations, and Business Office are collaborating to present a series of four workshops designed to train faculty in how to identify and apply for external funding for their scholarly projects.  All workshops will be offered via zoom on Friday afternoons from 1:30-2:20 pm.  The sessions are part of a larger 2025-2026 Academic Affairs Professional Development Series, which offers 1-2 workshops per month at a pre-set time on Friday afternoons.
