Resources for SMC Students

Resources regarding using your accommodations:

Staying Healthy

  • Resources and links to programs, classes and information about all the ways SMC would like to help students stay physically, mentally and emotionally healthy can be found here.
  • Check out this list of mental health tools developed by one of our students. The list includes free apps, meditation tools, online sensory tools and links to fun sites for distraction & humor!
  • Yoga tutorial: Watch this one hour gentle yoga practice when you need to stretch or take a break.  Originally recorded for the SDS office in May 2021, the recording is available for you to watch whenever you can benefit from a gentle guided practice.

What to do in an emergency

Resources for students with an autism diagnosis

  • A College Guide for Students on the Spectrum
  • Saint Mary's College CONNECT program
    • Incoming SMC students who choose to disclose a diagnosis of autism will be invited to apply to the Connect program. The program provides additional resources and supplementary support initiatives beginning with the first year and continuing through to graduation to help strengthen academic, social, employment and life skills to enhance the student’s college experience.  Contact the SDS office at for more information.
