The Executive Council guides the policy and direction of the Associated Students and oversees the Senate, campus-wide committees, and all clubs and organizations on campus. The Executive Council's office is located in Student Engagement and Activities.

Associated Students President - Regina Molitoris

The President of AS serves as the primary liaison between the student body and the administration, faculty, staff, and community members. As the chief officer of AS, they are charged with implementing passed Senate resolutions, serving on boards, committees, and taskforces, chairing the Election Commission, and ensuring student voice in community-wide decisions.

ASVP Elizabeth O'Sullivan

Associated Students Vice President for Finance - Elizabeth O'Sullivan

The VP Finance is the chief financial officer of AS, keeps the records of AS funds, oversees the Programming and Development Funds, chairs the Finance Committee, prepares the budget allocation process for student organizations as well as the annual Associated Students Budget, and supervises the use of AS funds.

My name is Elizabeth O'Sullivan, and I am a fourth-year student majoring in Politics at Saint Mary’s College of California. I currently serve as the Vice President for Finance. My experience in student government has strengthened my commitment to transparent and equitable leadership, and to ensuring that student funding is accessible, clear, and reflective of our community’s diverse needs. As the VP for Finance, I act as the Chief Financial Officer of the Associated Students. I’m responsible for keeping accurate records of AS funds, overseeing the Programming and Development funds, chairing the Finance Committee, preparing the annual budget allocation for student organizations, and managing the overall AS budget to ensure resources are used responsibly and effectively.

Associated Students Vice President for Student Organizations - VACANT

The VP Orgs oversees chartered student organizations, facilitates the Student Organizations Council (SOC), sits on the Diversity Organization Council (DOC), oversees the new student organization process, provides professional development opportunities and officer training to executive members of organizations, and plans involvement fairs.

ASP Administration Julissa Montano

Associated Students Vice President for Administration - Julissa Montano

My name is Julissa Montano and I am a fourth-year Politics major with a Sociology minor at Saint Mary’s College, where I proudly serve as the Vice President of Administration. As a first-generation college student and student representative, I'm committed to advocating for my peers and helping build a more inclusive and engaged campus community.

To be successful as a student leader, it's essential to listen actively, communicate clearly, and stay grounded in the needs and voices of the student body. Balancing accountability, empathy, and time management allows you to lead with both purpose and impact.
Speakers and staff can support student leaders by creating open lines of communication, offering mentorship, and providing clear expectations and resources. When we're empowered with guidance and trust, we're better equipped to lead confidently and effectively on behalf of our peers.

The VP Admin chairs the Senate, facilitates the Institutional Affairs Board and Governing Documents Committee, ensures Senate legislation is implemented, is responsible for maintaining Senate agendas and meeting minutes, and oversees filling Senate vacancies.
