Management and Leadership Minor
BECOME AN ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE LEADER WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP MINOR
The Saint Mary’s Management and Leadership minor is designed for those looking to rise to the leadership challenges of global business. Our faculty has shaped a curriculum that reflects the managerial demands of a modern business landscape, while helping nurture you into the responsible and creative leader others will want to follow.
MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP MINORS ARE INTRODUCED TO KEY CONCEPTS THAT PREPARE YOU TO:
- Work in a global environment
- Practice innovative and responsible decision-making
- Be purpose-driven, leaders who promote social and environmental responsibility
Learning to Lead with Integrity
FROM THE BOARDROOM TO THE CLASSROOM
Students work directly with industry experts and practitioners in all key areas of business innovation, leadership, creativity, ethics, and law. In addition to building up skillsets that are directly transferable to your career, we focus on developing the high-level, decision-making required to meet the social demands placed on businesses in today’s world.
A DATA-DRIVEN APPROACH TO THE COMMON GOOD
Unlike other minors, “purpose” is central to the Management & Leadership program. The Management and Leadership minor introduces students to concepts that allow them to understand how organizations can be led for more than just profitability but can also be good for employees and communities as well as having less impact on the environment.
From the Faculty
"Expect to be challenged throughout the program as you learn firsthand from experts on decision-making, leadership, business law and ethics, but also expect to be well rewarded for it. Pursuing a degree in Management and Leadership lays the building blocks not just for graduates’ first jobs, but for a long and successful career in which planning, directing, and leading are paramount."
