Presenting Research & Conference Opportunities

In order to graduate with Honors, each student must present research at least 1 time, either at another institution or at Saint Mary's.

Where to Present
Students may present any one of their Honors Contracts in any semester, and the SMC Student Research & Creative Works Conference is a great opportunity to present.
Other options include national and regional conferences, a departmental thesis forum, or another venue of the student's choosing. Read our newsletters to find scholarships to national and regional conferences!
We encourage students to present as many times as possible, in order to network, get new ideas, and polish their presentation skills.
