Kinesiology: Sport Management, BA
If you're passionate about sports, recreation, and fitness, the Sport Management BA will prepare you to transform that passion into a meaningful and rewarding career. You’ll gain a strong foundation in sport business while building key skills in marketing, finance, law, and management.
Prepared to lead in your field, you will hone skills in analyzing ethical, legal, and sociocultural issues and learn to apply them to managerial decision-making and policy. Experiential learning is an essential component of our program; you will complete an internship to develop networking skills and professional connections.

Athletic Director
Oversee athletic programs at schools, colleges, or organizations—managing budgets, hiring coaches, and ensuring compliance with regulations
Program Coordinator
Plan and implement sports and recreation programs for schools, community centers, or nonprofit organizations
Facility Manager
Manage daily operations of sports complexes, arenas, or fitness centers, including maintenance, scheduling, and safety protocols
Operations Assistant
Support team or facility operations, from managing equipment and game-day logistics to handling administrative tasks
Sponsorship Coordinator
Build partnerships with brands and businesses, manage sponsor relationships, and activate sponsorship agreements for teams or events
Sports Medicine Liaison
Support the connection between sports teams and healthcare professionals, ensuring athletes have access to care and injury prevention resources
Event & Recreation Manager
Organize and oversee sporting events, leagues, or recreational programs from logistics to staffing and promotion
Marketing Associate
Develop marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and promotional content to grow fan engagement and brand visibility
